New Zealand Mäori
My nationality is New Zealand Mäori, something that my brother and I are both keen to learn more about. We are both attending Te Ara Reo Mäori lessons presently in Whangarei.
My mother was Irene Pearson, born in Ohaewai, Northland, New Zealand.
Our iwi is Ngapuhi and our hapu is Ngati Rangi. My Grandmother was
originally a Repia
My father was Harold Dickens, from Gosport, England. He arrived here
at the end of the Second World War with the Royal Navy. My family in
other parts of the world related to my father, I have never met or seen.
Would welcome any information on family related to Dickens from Gosport.
My Grandfather was in the Royal Marines and died in active service.
Both my parents are deceased, dying within a week of each other in 1986.
